Year 7 Drama

In Drama this week, year 7 have been busying themselves with their final rehearsals and preparation for their assessment performance next week. For the last 5 weeks, all year 7 students have been blocking and polishing a scene from ‘The        Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty’. 

The play focuses on the central character of Terry, who is the victim of a deadly gang at his new school. Fear, pity, guilt and deceit divide the bullies, giving rise to discussions of peer pressure and bullying. I’ve so enjoyed watching these scenes come to life and the effort students have put in to learn their lines and create such incredible performances.
