Year 13 Leavers’ Dinner - 2023
On Friday evening, Year 13 came together for one last time to attend a Leaver’s Dinner at Garon Park Golf Complex, accompanied by their teachers’ and photographed by their proud parents and carers.
As with tradition all students looked amazing as they arrived in their dinner suits and cocktail dresses with the evening being captured on camera by Lewis Knight, an outstanding photography student from Year 12.
Mrs Dudbridge started off the evening by reiterating how proud the Sixth form team are of this outstanding year group; not only of their achievements, tenacity and hard work but of their overall kindness to one and other. Along side this emotive speech, Mrs Dudbridge and Ms Sear gave student certificates for ‘The most likely to!’ which brought lots of fun and laughter to the room!
The evening concluded with lots of posing for photos and goodbye chats. It was a fantastic send off to one of the nicest groups of young people whom we are proud to say, attended Cecil Jones Academy.
The Sixth form team would like to wish all Year 13 students the best of luck for results day and their future aspirations
