Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
BackAs part of our ongoing affiliation with the Diana Trust, we would like to congratulate the students who have recently attended an Anti-Bullying Training day. Bulling Ambassadors will be responsible for creating a fun effective and long-term campaign that will help prevent and tackle bullying behaviour in our school.
The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are overseen by Ms. Sear, Year Care Team for Post and is headed up a Post 16 student, who is part of the Junior Leadership Team in Year 12. We have representatives across all year groups and will continue to recruit other ambassadors along the way.
“Hello, my name is Alfie and I am the Lead for the Anti- Bullying Ambassadors at Cecil Jones Academy. Having this position is a huge advantage and privilege. It enables opportunities to help students in so many ways. All of our Ambassadors are a great asset to the school and this unites our school community in making Cecil Jones Academy a safe and stronger community”
If you would like to join us, then please see a member of your Year Care Team or speak to anyone wearing a ‘Red Tie’.
What is Bullying
“Bullying is the repetitive intentional hurting of one person or group to another, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. Bullying can be physical, verbal or psychological. It can happen face to face or online. Not everyone has been a bully or the victim of bullies, but everyone has seen it”
This is why Cecil Jones Bullying Ambassadors are dedicated to continuing to ensure that our school is a happy and safe environment for all.
