A Level Results 2024
BackToday, we are excited to celebrate the remarkable achievements of another year of A-Level and Level 3 Vocational students. Cecil Jones Academy is delighted to see, once again, another large cohort of students opting to continue their studies at university or take on a prestigious and sought-after apprenticeship. Since Cecil Jones Academy joined the Loxford School Trust in April 2019, this is the largest cohort of students to secure a place at a university.
The overall pass rates for both the A Levels and Level 3 vocational courses were very good and well deserved.
It has been a privilege to witness the students' hard work and dedication to their studies during their time at Cecil Jones Academy. Teachers, parents and carers have been blown away by their resilience and determination to succeed. We wish them well for the future.
Students commented with shock and awe at some of their examination results, one student exclaiming, “I am so excited to go to university to do a degree in Physical geography. I am so thankful to all my teachers for all the help they have given me. My time at Cecil Jones has been amazing and I’m so excited for the future.”
Some of our successes include:
Ebony – A A A C – Chemical Engineering at UCL
Chloe – A* B C – Psychology at the University of Essex
Leyla – A A B – Biological Sciences at UCL
Jasmine – D* B B – Physical Geography at Southampton
Jaiden – B B B – Psychology and Economics at the University of Essex
Many more students are heading all over the United Kingdom to study a wide variety of subjects including Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Criminology, Events management, Business with Marketing, Accounting, Psychology, Archaeology and Anthropology, Biomedical Science, Chemical Engineering, Computing and many more well-known universities.
All the staff at Cecil Jones Academy are so proud of all the students and the diverse range of careers and avenues they are off to explore.
Cecil Jones Academy remains devoted to empowering future generations with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to thrive. With the foundation laid by these positive A level and BTEC results, the school looks forward to continued success in both academic pursuits and personal growth.
