Sad News

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with deep sadness, that I am writing to inform you that one of our Year 11 students has sadly
passed away after a short period of illness.

She was a talented, and very creative student, who will be missed by everyone who knew her.
When someone dies it is normal for their friends, family and community to experience lots of
different feelings like sadness, anger and confusion. Our students are aware that staff are available
to try to answer their questions in school. We will try to do this in an age-appropriate and honest
way.
