Use of e-scooters
BackWe currently have a number of students arriving and leaving the school on an e-scooter.
According to the UK Government website, “It is against the law to use a privately owned e-scooter. If you use an e-scooter illegally: you could face a fine. You could get penalty points on your licence. It is effectively illegal to use them on public roads, on pavements, in cycle lanes and in pedestrian-only areas.” With this in mind, e-scooters are NOT allowed to be brought to school. This decision will be reviewed as soon as the Government introduces new legislation.
