Sports Leaders support Southend Primary Ahtletics Championships

On Wednesday, Cecil Jones Sports Leaders assisted in the Southend Primary Borough Athletics Championships at Garon Park alongside the Southend School Sports Partnership. It was a really fun, hot day with some great performances from the younger pupils. The Sports Leaders showed great enthusiasm with all tasks given to them on the day. This included taking

measurements for throwing and jumping events and using technology and video analysis to determine placement of pupils in the running races. Throughout the day, the leaders showed excellent engagement and fantastic leadership skills throughout. It was commented by the sports partnership, local parents and the primary schools in attendance what an amazing job they all did. Well done Sports Leaders!
