Year 9 Visit UCL

UCL Visit:
As part of the University College London wider participation project, thirteen Year 9 students had the privilege of visiting the Bloomsbury campus for the day.
The day began with the journey from Southend Central to Euston Square underground station, which was an experience in the mist of London's rush hour. At the University, students had the opportunity to take part in university lectures, campus tours, workshops on preparing for GCSEs, budgeting and university loans and grants and talks from current undergraduate students about their experiences.
The students were in awe of how independent life at university is, as well as the ability to choose a degree on anything they are interested in.
