Because……
I love you because you’re funny
I love you because you care
I love you because I can give my secrets a house
I love you because you birthed me
I love you because you raised me my whole life
I love you because you have a good heart

Mum
I love you because you make me feel safe like a mother bear protecting her cubs
I love you because you protect me like a gorilla
I love you because you make me feel as brave as a lion
I love you because you make me jump with joy like a kangaroo
I love you because you make me think I can fly as high as a bird
I love you because you care for me the way a sloth cares for its young
